This full moon marks the beginning of Damodara Masa, commonly known as the Holy Month of Kartik.

Every day of this sacred month, millions of Krishna devotees will offer lamps in temples and sing a beautiful song written by the ancient sage Satyavrata, meditating on God in the form of a Divine Baby, known as Damodara.
